that on all of our wedding rental items
there is a $10.00 per item/category
refundable deposit on the. Above
the rental cost...with the exception of the
Swan oil Lamps - which have a $50.00
deposit to them! (the refundable
deposit is issued back to you by check OR credited back to your credit card after
the items have been picked up and returned -
providing it has not been damaged or broken.
If so, you are responsible for the
replacement cost of that item. All of
the rental items are priced at one delivery
location. They can be used at the
church and then transported to the reception
by the bridal party with our consent. Generally we can move them if you so choose,
but there is an additional charge, please
check with us.
**Also, please note that on the aisle
candelabra's, in addition to the $10.00 per
pair refundable deposit, there is a
$50.00 maintenance fee. This is
because of the amount of time it takes to
install and take down. It also covers
for someone from Flowers By Dick Burton to
be at the entire service while the candles
are lit (for safety purposes). A
serviced wedding fee can not apply towards
this fee; as with a serviced wedding, we are
only there until the bride goes down the
aisle. With the candelabras we are
there until the ceremony is over and the
candles are extinguished, generally after
the pictures (and then we take them down to
bring back to the shop, as they ONLY can be
used for the ceremony use!)
"Our
Policies and General Information"
A "non
serviced" wedding is one that includes
delivery to the church and the reception.
All of the church items are set up in place.
The bouquets and flowers are in the back of
the church. It is then your
responsibility to see that all is done
correctly and at the right time. All
weddings unless you order the additional
"serviced wedding" come this way.
A "serviced wedding" includes all of
the above description but one of our staff
members is there until you the bride goes
down the aisle. We assist her with her
train/veil/bouquet. We pin on all the
corsages and boutonnieres, show the girls
how to carry their bouquets and when to go
down the aisle. We even have
needle/thread, smelling salts, and many
other emergency items to make it completely
worry free on your part! Please
note that we also service Rochester and
Buffalo weddings.
Please note: for a Rochester or Buffalo
or other area wedding, the service would be
the same, but there would be a delivery
charge from $40.00 minimum to $150.00,
depending on how many trips were required.
Ex: first time to see church/reception for
ideas, the actual wedding day delivery, plus
going back to pick up any rental items.
Please check with us!
A wedding deposit of $100.00 is required at
the time of booking!!! All dates will
remain open until the deposit is paid.
Once the deposit is paid it then guarantees
your date with us. Then allowing you
to actually book later. The deposit is
non-refundable, but it is credited towards
your total amount due. The balance of
your wedding flowers is due 2 weeks minimum
prior to your wedding date! Payment of
your wedding flowers must be paid by
the due date on your wedding copy, which is
two weeks prior to your wedding. If
wedding is not paid for, the flowers and
supplies ARE NOT ORDERED and may not
be available at that time. Payment
is by cash, check or credit card only!
It cannot be applied to a house account.
If you have a promotional discount, the full
discount will be allowed on any and all
items that you place at the time of your
first booking ONLY! Additional
items can be added at any later time but the
discount will not apply. Color
changes, flower changes, and alternations
must be made two weeks prior to the wedding.
If done later, we will try our best to
accommodate, but cannot guarantee after that
point. If specific colors or types of
flowers are unavailable due to shipping or
weather conditions, we must reserve the
right of substitution on those flowers.
However, we assure you that you will still
get the same style and look of your flowers,
bouquets, etc.
Wedding appointments are required when
actually booking your wedding. We will
do our best to work around your schedule:
mornings, afternoons, evenings, or
Saturdays. Please allow 1 to 3 hours
for this very important appointment.
At this time you will want to bring any
swatches of the dress colors, ideas,
pictures, etc. There is much more we
can do for your wedding, either for the
church or reception and we can work with
whatever ideas or themes you may have in
mind. We are here to make your wedding
day truly your very special day.
